Private License - Your First Step into Aviation
Sky Safety offers you a comprehensive, yet flexible training program, that keeps flying fun while focusing on safety and is structured to help you achieve your goals. As a Part 141 Certified Flight School under the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), we provide a well organized training program that enables you to get your private pilot's license in as little as 35 flying hours.
Under Part 61 of the FARs we offer a focused yet flexible training program that we can tailor to meet your needs. Regardless of which program you select, Sky Safety trained pilots have been getting their licenses between 45 and 55 hours where the national average is over 75. Additionally, over the last 5 years our students are running better than a 95% pass rate on first time check rides.
Now with your ticket in hand you can zip down to the beach, visit grandma in Albuquerque, cruise around the patch or fly to that neighboring airport just to grab that "$100" hamburger!
Improve Your Skill - The Next Step: Instrument Rating
Want to advance beyond the private pilot license or use your pilot skills to further your personal business? The instrument rating is your next step. An instrument rating teaches you to fly in more challenging weather, enabling more reliable travel schedules. Getting the instrument "ticket" greatly improves your piloting abilities. It builds on the skills you already have by teaching you precision flying while building self-confidence. Sky Safety strongly recommends an instrument rating for all pilots
on the career track.
If your goal is a career in aviation, this important step will bring your desires within reach.
Commercial License
Are you seeking a career in aviation or just desire to become more proficient? The commercial license is the next step. Commercial pilot training is conducted in more complex aircraft, and focuses on advanced aircraft systems and more challenging maneuvers. The commercial pilot certificate is remarkably affordable, and makes a good pilot even better. Whether you plan to fly for a living, or just want to take your skills to the next level, the commercial pilot license is right for you.
